The Stuff

The  $100  Shopping Challenge started upon arriving at the mall...
I walk in, and the first thing  I notice is all of the fluorescent  yellow, green , pink and orange.

The spring fashions had arrived ......and it looks like  neon glow will be "in"  this Spring.

It stinks, because  not very many people look good in fluorescent colors.  If you don't believe me,  just  go hold a neon shirt up to your face while you look in the mirror.   Neon only looks good on sun tanned 16-18 year olds.....period.

I just think neon looks cheap on clothing....Now on accessories????   That's a different story.  I do enjoy .
So anyhoo.....I am in Macys  looking through the clearance rack  ....when I hear a deep, but yet girly voice asking another sales lady about some  display signs......I turned around,  and there she was ...............The most awkward busy body transvestite store clerk ever.... She/ He was in full cross dress and taking it all very seriously.   I noted that she had a twitch to her, as well......
"Odd"  I mused.
I knew that this weirdness would never happen in Crumble Town.....but.....oh well   back to the challenge.
First purchase....2 for $20 tank tops from the GAP....  Fluorescent !  HA ....I got  swooned
Next find:
A nice soft cream colored  sweater from Urban Outfitters...Regular price $70......on sale  $29
Ok....Next  :  Boot polish  for my boots $7,   A mushroom tree ornament for a gift  $4.50 (clearance)
And 3 pairs of gloves from the GAP.....8 bucks each.

After tax and all....I had like 10 bucks left.....I liked everything I got .....
I wanted a pretzel.....but there was like 15 people in line(mostly tweens)  ...I passed.
Now, one thing that I have decided.........is  that other than shoes, boots or nice dresses...I just don't think that the big mall has all that much more to choose from.  To be honest ,  I don't find a lot of the clothing that attractive these days.
Anyway....not bad for about $90

Looks like you were successful. I wear a lot of tanks or cami's under sweaters. The neon might look good like that...under something else, just popping out a bit of color. That sweater looks sooo comfy and warm. Love it. And a person can't get enough gloves! Remember last year when we bought like...a dozen!

I super love the tank tops and the gloves! I double dog dare you to wear them at least once at the same time outside the house ;)
